We designed our first website December 3rd, 2004, the website was www.WaltersMotorsports.com. The website was started because our race team needed someway to help promote our sponsors and share team information with our sponsors, family, and fans. We spent countless hours updating that website and learning new things on this website for just under a year. After working extra overtime doing research on web design companies and how to start a service driven company we decided to take it one step further and design websites for clients.

On August 15th, 2005, we released our first client website. That website was www.TeamUGMotorsports.com, a website that is now shut down. The 10 page website was put together for a total of $50. The website is nothing compared to what we are able to do today. The site was basically an all text website that had no real design built into it. We were determined to learn more about the design of a website and put out some really cool artwork, we just simply didn't make the cut just yet.

We began constantly redesigning our first website www.WaltersMotorsports.com in order to get better at what we were wanting to do and where we were wanting to take our company. We must have done a complete re-design of our own website 5 times. Then, for extra practice we opened up another website for our own benefit www.SimPaintShop.com on September 27th, 2005. This website was simply a practice website in a whole different catagory then we were used to and we tried a lot of expirimenting on this site since it had virtually no traffic and it didn't really matter what we put up. After countless hours and re-designing the website was much better then all our past websites and and we knew we were hading in the right direction.

After the Sim Paint Shop website business quickly picked up. In the next 12 months we released 15 new client websites. In order to put this in numbers we grew our business over 1,500% in a single year. We were constantly changing our system to try and adapt to the rapid growth rate. It got to the point we almost lost control because everything was being done with a pencil and paper, everything from billing to client information. We needed to make a change yet again. So, almost the same way we started Walters Web Design with trial and error along with countless hours of research, we began creating a database to help control the paperwork side of the company.

This database greatly increased productivity and is the system we still use today. It has allowed us to take on even more customers and still keep our 48 hour website guarantee. We have continued to stay up to date on all our websites and keep a very customer friendly relationship with all our customers. At the same time it has allowed more time for research and development. These are two things that have held this company strong since the day we opened for business. Walters Web Design will continue to get better and faster at our job, there in no end to our performance and company growth.
