Vogel Racing Releases Top Notch Website Written By: Vogel Racing St. Louis, MO (April 4th, 2008) – Vogel Racing is excited to roll out our new website at www.vogelracing.com . Give Shane Walters of Walters Web Design (www.WaltersWebDesign.com) a Red Bull and a computer and step way back, because something big is gonna happen! In the midst of reworking our entire Vogel Heating website, he sneak’s this beauty in! I hope the boys can live up to the site on the racetrack, because it is cool! Speaking of the boys on track; Vogel Racing is locked and loaded for the Stars Season opener in Ocala, and is prepared to make waves… Christian enters the ‘08 Stars season with two years experience in the JICA classification. He has paid his dues on equipment not properly suited to the balance required to excel in this classification, but finds that impediment behind him for ‘08. Complaining of tight or “just not free” conditions from his previous machines, Christian begged for a further re-evaluation of the team equipment and got his wish, finding himself in the seat of a Tony Kart for the final Florida Winter Tour race. The kart was immediately fast and the results were dramatic, with his instant up front pace providing a third place start; just .02 off of pole in his first race on the TK chassis. While the race results did not favor Christian, rest assured his pace was no fluke. He is physically prepared, focused, motivated, and now on a chassis with real pace. Results are just the next logical progression in his program. With a little luck, they will be immediate. What about younger brother Grant? Well let’s just say Grant does not like to run in the back of the pack. If you know Grant this statement is redundant, not a revelation. Our new found Tony Kart pace at the final FWT race put Grant in a position to steal his first national victory in a classification he just moved up to this winter. Grant could still be competing in the cadet classification where he would have not doubt excelled; but his maturity and race craft demanded a move to the JICA classification. When his conditioning and driving skill catch up with his inner drive, he will be hard to beat… A quote I won’t have to defend in the future!
