Please read through the following information on this page and you will be guided through all the steps to getting your own personal website up and running. If you have any questions at any point please visit our contact page and we would be very happy to answer any questions you have.
1) Pick your website package.
2) Send us a little information on your company or race team, a few pictures and/or logos, and a list of the page names and we will have a website preview generated for you to look at within 48 hours.
3) Get your quote as every race team will receive a sponsorship discount. This means you can guarantee it will never be more then the listed prices on this page, only less. A lot less.
4) Once we tune your site preview to the way you like it. Then it is time to purchase your domain name and hosting. Once that is set-up it is finally time to release the finished product. The site should have everything you want to see on your website. We can make as many FREE changes as you want once the site is up on the web to get it exactly the way you want it.
The day the site is released we will put together a FREE press release regarding the release of your website and release it to many forms of media and get your new website released to the public. You won't be required to make payment for the site design until the site is totally complete and ready for release. However, we will not be able to release the site until we receive payment.
5) Walters Web Design has two maintenance packages to pick from.
a) Get your maintenance fee chart. Once the site is released we will maintain your website and charge you per update not by the hour. We have a chart for maintenance so you know exactly what you will be charged before you even send us the update. See info below.
b) Get billed at the beginning of each quarter (every 3 months) a set fee of $39.50(x3). See info below.
The first step to getting your brand new website is picking your web design package. Generally the only difference between packages is the number of pages. For example, Package A lists 1-5 pages, this means you can only have a total of 5 main sections on your navigation bar (ex. Home, Our Work, Pricing, News, & Contact). Each package increases with price as the number of pages go up. However, at the same time you save a little money with larger packages because it is not a full 100% price increase from A to B or B to C. Once you have picked the package that best fits your needs you can then move on to your Website Preview (see step 2).

The Website Preview is the best part of the whole web design process. All you need to do is email, fax, or mail us a list of pages you would like (Remember package sizes by the number of pages) along with as much information about the website you would like to have designed. Generally this includes a small amount of info on your company or race team, a few photos or logos, and a list of pages. After we receive this information we can generally have your Website Preview put together within a few hours, 48 hours at the most of receiving the preview form with a link to view your FREE WEBSITE PREVIEW as well as your SPONSORSHIP QUOTE* A website preview is the best way to find out if a website is really something you would like and if we are the right people to do it.

While we have most everything listed as package pricing that does not mean you will not get a few discounts on top of that regular site design fee. For example, we sponsor every race team we have ever worked with. If you are a driver or part of a race team, simply send us a list of team/driver accomplishments along with a few photos and we will be able to give you some information on the discount that will be offered to your team. The discount will be offered not only on the one time design fee but it will also carry over to the lifetime maintenance of the site as well (See step 5 for maintenance info).
The best and most important part of designing a website is the finished product. By the time we get to this step you have already seen the preview and probobly made a few changes to it until you are happy with the design. Once you are happy with the FREE preview design you are ready to put the entire site on the web. Your entire site is usually up on the web a short 24-48 hours after you have seen the website preview design you are happy with. The site should now have everything you want to see on your website. We can make as many FREE changes as you want once the site is up on the web for 3 months or until the site is released to the public, to get the site exactly the way you want it. The day the site is released we will put together a FREE press release regarding the release of your new website and send the press to many forms of media and get your new website released to the public. Most sites see 500+ visitors in the first week from our PR work for your website.

a) ITEM CHART: Sadly, most webmasters charge maintenance on your website by the hour and it is usually between $40-$100 per hour. Not only is that expensive in a very short period of time but you the customer has no idea how much work they actually put into it. The worst part of the whole thing is you will have no idea what a website will cost to update or you will have to get a quote every time you want to update your site.
We do things much DIFFERENT, we charge per item. We have designed a chart listing almost everything we do to maintain our websites with an item price. This means before you even call or send us an email with website update information you will know what it is going to cost you just from taking a quick look at the chart. We can guarantee you will be surprised on how cheap we actually are on our website maintenance. Maintenance does not start until the site is released to the public, usually by a press release. You can get this chart very easy, all you need to do is contact us and we will be happy to send it to you via email or snail mail along with some additional information. You are able to switch between maintenance options if you are a new or old customer. However, you may only switch maintenance options one time per year and keep the option chosen for 9 or more months before being able to switch options again
b) MONTHLY FEE: THIS OPTION IS FOR TEAMS THAT WOULD LIKE TO MAKE VERY FREQUENT WEBSITE UPDATES SERVERAL TIMES A WEEK WITH A LARGE UPDATE EACH TIME SUCH AS POSTING 30 OR MORE PHOTOS AFTER EACH RACE WEEKEND. THIS OPTION IS NOT JUSTIFIED FOR MOST TEAMS. With option B you get unlimited website updates for just $39.50 a month. Get billed at the beginning of each quarter (every 3 months) a set fee monthly fee of $39.50(x3). The bill will cover the following 3 months maintenance of your website. The first maintenance bill will be one month after the purchase of the domain name, the first month is FREE. You are able to switch between maintenance options if you are a new or old customer. However, you may only switch maintenance options one time per year and keep the option chosen for 9 or more months before being able to switch options again. Prices are BEFORE team sponsorship discount. Option B is only available on race team websites.
